With more than 35 years of experience, my aims at the Jon Nicholas Golf School are to provide high standards of coaching, value for money, and attention to detail.
I am dedicated and passionate about the game of golf. I take pride in the way I play the game, coach players, represent myself as a Professional Golfer and deliver customer care to a high standard.
My professional golfing journey started as Assistant Professional to Gordon Brand, the father of European Tour and Ryder Cup player Gordon Brand Jnr. I went on to coach on behalf of the PGA at Ryder Cup and European Tour venues, as well as promotional days.
I am a level 3 PGA Professional and have attended a Coaching Seminar with Butch Harmon and his brothers, as well as hosting a Putting Seminar with putting guru Geoff Mangum from the USA (PuttingZone.com). I hold a Diploma in Sport Psychology, as well as a Golf Psychology Coaching Certificate. I have also attended a PGA Rules and Refereeing Course.
During my time spent living and working in Belgium as a Golf Professional, I played in the Belgian Open on the European Tour and on the French Tour. My achievements include winning tournaments across the UK and Europe, twice finishing in the top 6 of the Welsh PGA Championship, as well as holding course records.
I hold an upto date DBS certificate and child protection certificate.
